Judy Petersen Judy PetersenAnnouncing an upcoming Affordable Housing Hearing (LR461), Friday, September 7th at the State Capitol - Room 1003, 9 am - Noon (we will be the third hearing of the day).

It is vital that we let our legislators know how important these funds are to your community, to show support for the continuation and expansion of the Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund (NAHTF) program. Our Central Nebraska region has been the recipient of over $5 million in Affordable Housing Trust Fund grant dollars since 2006 to help build and repair homes, provide down payment assistance funds, educate new home buyers, and provide development assistance to communities to plan for housing expansion.

We want to fill the room to show support for this program. We hope to see many of you there during the hearing. If you are unable to attend, we would encourage you to provide a letter to show support for this program. If your community has been a recipient of these funds, documentation of the benefits these funds provided would be appreciated as well.

If you plan to attend the hearing, please use the link below to RSVP so that we know who we can count on to attend. RSVP's are not required. t.e2ma.net/click/ns44o/fa13wq/nssbug
